Privacy policy and terms

This page combines our privacy policy and our terms of service in one place. It explains what LeadNumbers collects about its customers and about the business contacts in its database, how that information is used, who it is shared with, how anyone can have their record removed, and the terms that govern your subscription. Who this covers

Two groups. Customers are the people and companies who open an account, request the free sample or buy a subscription. Business contacts are the working professionals whose business details appear in the lists we deliver. Different rules apply to each, so they are described separately below.

What we collect from customers

• Account details: name, work email, company name and website.
• Ideal customer profile information you enter or upload so we can match prospects to your business.
• Delivery settings: recipient addresses, time zone, sending time, and any CRM or webhook destination you connect.
• Billing records: plan, volume, billing term and payment status. Card details are entered on our payment provider's own checkout and are never stored by us.
• Usage information: pages visited, where the visit came from, sign ups and checkout starts, tied to an anonymous visitor identifier rather than to your name.
• Abuse signals: a hashed network address, a browser fingerprint and the email domain of free sample and signup requests.

How we use it

To run your subscription: build and deliver your lists, email them, push them to the destination you chose, take payment, answer support requests and tell you about changes to the service. Aggregated usage data tells us which pages and plans work. Abuse signals exist only to stop duplicate and automated signups claiming free samples. We do not sell customer data and we do not use your ideal customer profile to build lists for anyone else.

Business contact data in the lists

The records we deliver are business contact details: name, job title, employer, business location, work email, direct dial or mobile number used in a professional capacity, and a public professional profile link. They are handled through confidential business data processes and supplied for business to business outreach only.

Who we share data with

Service providers who make the product work: our hosting and database platform, our payment processor, our email sending provider, and specialist data services supporting contact quality. They only receive what they need for that job. Information may also be shared with Growth Lab Group Inc. and other companies in the same group for service delivery, fraud prevention and legal compliance, and with authorities where the law requires it.

Opt out, correction and deletion

Any individual can ask to be removed from our data. We suppress the record across every account and never resupply it. Use the opt-out page or write to hello@leadnumbers.com. The same address handles requests to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and requests from customers to close an account and remove its data. Tell us which email address, phone number or profile link to match so we can find the record.

The fastest route is the privacy request form, which covers access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data in a file, and the California right to tell us never to share your information. It is free, needs no account, and we answer within 30 days, or 45 days for requests made under California law. Our security and compliance position is set out on the trust page.

Wrong details and replacements

If a number or email in a delivered list is wrong, flag it in your portal. Records reported as having a wrong or unreachable number are replaced free, subject to fair use. Fair use means replacements are capped as a share of the volume delivered in the same month, with a cooldown between claims. Claims above the cap are reviewed by a person before any replacement is issued. Corrections are fed back so the same record is not supplied again.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are charged in advance on a monthly, quarterly or annual schedule. Monthly prospect volume resets every month and does not roll over, regardless of the payment schedule. Quarterly and annual plans carry a discount for the longer commitment. Cancellations take effect at the end of the paid commitment period unless stated otherwise.

Acceptable use

Data is licensed to your organization for its own outreach. You may not resell, publish or redistribute the records. Free samples are limited to one per person and per company, and attempts to circumvent that limit may result in refusal of service.

Your responsibilities

You remain the caller and the sender. Complying with the calling, messaging, registration, consent and privacy rules of the places you contact is your responsibility.

Emails we send

Customers receive their daily list and account notices at the addresses set in delivery settings. Every one of those emails carries a link to this page and to the opt-out page, and you can pause delivery or change recipients in your portal at any time.

Cookies and tracking

We keep a randomly generated visitor identifier in your browser so repeat visits are not double counted and so we can see which pages lead to signups. It holds no name or email. A separate sign-in session is stored once you log in. We do not run third party advertising trackers on the site.

Keeping data

Account, billing and delivered list records are kept while your account is open and afterwards where we need them for accounting, dispute and legal reasons. Opt-out records are kept permanently, because that is the only way to guarantee a suppressed contact is never supplied again.

Changes to this page

When this policy or these terms change we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting customers are also sent by email to the address on the account.
