Glossary

Cost per contact

The effective price paid for each usable, callable record.

Headline pricing is misleading when records are unusable. A list at four cents a contact where half the numbers are switchboards costs more per usable record than a list at fifteen cents where every number is personal.

Seat-and-credit pricing hides this further, because the seat is paid whether or not anyone runs a search that month.

The honest denominator is contacts you would actually hand to a rep.

How we handle it

LeadNumbers prices per delivered contact, from about 8 cents at volume to 24.5 cents on the entry plan, and wrong records are replaced free.
